My last day in Physics Lab

My last time at Physics Lab..6 May 2008..The fun times..I took the opportunity to take some pics to remember the Physics lab..When i was leaving the lab..i just saw the lab equipments there and I HAD to pose with it..

Lab Partners! You both owe me an ice tea..
Shit lar..i dun even know what this is called..but it was cool..
It's something like an electronic timer that starts when it passes one
handle and stops when it passes the other..

Stroboscope..-i'm figuring how it works
Playing and posing with the stroboscope
(with the lights on..hmm...)

Being sakai and amazed with the coils..

I'm gonna miss all the funny lab moments i had..i think there were alot considering i was never really serious in lab..(always talking and all)..=(

Earthquake in China

Seriously..Another natural disaster?..why is it happening so frequently?..Just a week after the cyclone..a powerful earthquake with a 7.9 magnitude had hit China with well over 8000 people who died. Lots of children died as schools were toppled down by the gigantic quake. At the very minute i am typing this post, there are still people out there crying for help..hopefully the death rate will not increase any longer..Imagine that China is a place filled people with an only child and how the lives of these children can be taken away so cruelly. With that my heart goes all out to those who lost their beloved ones. Hopefully time will take it course and everything will heal.. God bless all of you..

Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar

Natural disasters..part of mother nature's way of controlling earth to tell us who's boss. The cyclone in Myanmar has killed well over 25,000 people and rising by the day with more than 41,000 people missing. Global warming was partly blamed for this disaster as well as mangrove swamps that could possibly reduce the impact of the disaster significantly. What made me quite angry is the fact that the military government is not accepting foreign aid workers. People are living homeless with no electricity and no proper water sanitation..c'mon. Apparently the government wants to accept the money and aid and distribute it by themselves. This is going to cause problems as we might never know who gets the money in the end..the generals or the people. This is just going to cause more problems as help is needed immediately. There is going to be a possible outbreak of diseases and the people there are in need of medication. Possible diseases are tuberculosis and malaria..due to bad water as well as overcrowding. To make matters worse, there will be rain and people without shelter would suffer even more. Apparently the government was given advance warnings about the cyclone but it doesn't seem like anything worked at all looking at the number of people who died.
Hopefully, the loss of lives can be reduced with the aid given by organisations around the world.
View stumbling blocks as stepping stones to the stars.-Unknown
Sorry to those who lost their loved ones in this disaster.

This is for my peoples
Who just lost somebody
Your best friend, your baby
Your man or your lady
Put your hand way up high
We will never say bye

Mamas, daddies, sisters, brothers
Friends and cousins
This is for my peoples
Who lost their grandmothers
Lift your head to the sky
Cause we will never say bye, bye.
