Happy New Year! 2010 will be a great year!

Whoa..I'm very sure everyone has heard of this statement before..'WOW, so fast another year has passed! How fast time flies!' Yep, It is year 2010. Till the final days of 2009, there was nothing in my mind except the knowledge i studied for my exams..=( my exams officially ended on 31st December 2009..=) I celebrated with my college friends for the new year but I think I was quite tired on that day although I tried my best to be as active as possible. It feels GREAT to meet up with friends again after studying for almost 2 months and hardly going out at all during that period of time. =(

Well, Haven't received the pics yet so I cant post any pics about the new year celebration with my friends. But i have to say that meeting up with PM7 makes me relaxed and happy again. It was really nice meeting with such great group of friends that I missed so dearly. =)

Immediately after that, On the 1st Jan 2009, I went to Penang and Taiping with my family for..........FOOOOOOOOD! seriously...Penang and Taiping have some of the best foods in Malaysia..not to mention cheap! on average one plate/bowl of meal is around RM2.70-3! I don't think i can EVER find such cheap bowls of noodles anywhere in KL or Selangor. X_X We just ate ate ate till our hearts content..=) gosh...i love good foooood...=) Did lots of things this holiday and more to come! =)

This is just an introduction after almost 6 months of hardly blogging at all. It feels soo...weird..>.< Happy 2010 all! =)

Holidays till 29 June!

AH...finally some time to relax..Time to meet up with friends..So many things to do in just one month of holiday.

From 23-31 may 2009, Lots of my time will be contributed to watching Britain's got talent 2009 semi-finals and finals. I've been catching it since episode 1 and cant wait for it to end! There's so many talented people out and the show is so amazing..you can find it off youtube if you wanna see it =) My personal favourites now is flawless, sue son(eliminated yesterday), 2 grand and aiden davis. Susan Boyle's great too but i think it doesn't really matter whether she wins or not cuz she's already famous and well known. She made it to the final this saturday though. May the best talent wins!

Besides Britain's got talent, i've been watching lots of shows. I'm catching on Full metal alchemist brotherhood which only comes out once a week since it's super new. The anime's great so far but i'm addicted to the opening theme song - yui-again -. It's a damn freaking good song, you should go listen to it. =D

Well, of course i'm not going to spend all my time watching videos..it gets boring when you have nothing to do at home. Anyways this week, i'm meeting quite a number of friends and hopefully teachers as well..really miss them. =)

From 11-14 June, I'll probably be attending a buddhist camp just to learn something new and hopefully make some new friends. 22 -29 june i think i'll be meeting with friends who will be returning from UK and hopefully have a nice PM7 gathering =)

I really wanna put this holiday in good use since after that i'll have 6 months of sem 3 with hardly any breaks at all. In between all this holiday, I do hope i can do my bit for charity as well. On the 31st may, I'll most probably be attending the relay for life and sometime in august for the 30 hour famine. Besides that, SPCA needs more help than ever after their efforts to save the animals from Pulau Ketam. SPCA would greatly appreciate if you could donate and help them out any way possible. Oh well, these are my current plans for my holidays for now. Hope i can fully utilise my holiday though. =) Tomorrow I'm going badminton! if i can wake up >.<

Exams finally over..

Just finished my exams yesterday..Results out in 10 days time. X_X After the exams, I felt so empty cuz i've been studying and studying and now my schedule is all empty. Anyways, I'm kinda happy everything's over and I really hope I pass(I'm damn freaking worried). After the exams, I was thinking of what I wanted to do most. Was it hanging out with friends? No. Was it playing games till your hearts content? No. Was it surfing the internet 24/7? No.

The only thing that came across my mind was spending time with my family..=( I hardly spent a single time with them whenever they go out even 4 weeks prior to my exam period. Really glad to have such a supportive family..=)

Besides that..It's time for me to do what I love most..Voluntary work! There are so many charitable events coming up I cant wait to join them. =) Take care everyone! and Happy Holidays!

Whoa..just two days till my summatives and i feel as though i'm not prepared. Although i finished reading as much as I PLANNED to read..I just couldn't do the questions given to me..sigh..maybe i've been thinking too much or my lack of focus has caused a great deal.

Lately i've been having selective memories..now everything in my head are all parasites, microbes and viruses. I've forgotten quite a number of things. I don't even remember how much the price of a cup of soya bean is already. X_X

I don't know whether it's the stress or what but i feel sooo...emotionless...i dun feel like smiling, laughing, crying..just plain no emotions at all..=( pity. Sometimes i have mixed feelings as well..I feel as though i'm having some form of bipolar disorder..>.<

Can't wait for summatives as well as EOS to be over! I have so many activities that i wanna join and do! and i can only join them IF i pass my EOS..

So Here goes nothing....STUDY! STUDY! STUDY!

Less than 3 weeks to sum2 and 5 weeks till EOS

The title says it all. The amount of workload I have to study is massive..Guess i'm not going to go out anytime soon..X_X

Sem 2 so far has been great. I've been filling myself with activities since the start of sem 2 and time passed by REALLY quickly. Well, I had my fun and now it's time to get down to studying hard. Soon..sem 2 will be over..And i'll get to see all my friends again! I cant wait to see my friends studying abroad that could make it back during the summer/winter break.

I've realised that IMU life has changed me although it's only been less than a year. I have no idea why but i've become more serious in a lot of issues. Not that it's a bad thing but maybe that's just part of life..growing up perhaps? =p I'm not as nuts/random/bubbly as I used to be. I'm not sure whether it's the stress level that's making me that way..hopefully so..>.<

Although I always feel happy, there are just stuffs inside my head that tries to lower my self-esteem most of the time. Sometimes I do wish I could share it with a close friend but I have yet to express everything kept inside me. Oh well, overall I'm satisfied with what i've done so far. =)

Time to study now..Zzz...

Robbery in Taman Maluri, Cheras and the security in Malaysia

Got this video from a forwarded e-mail. Please be really careful everyone when you drive your car inside..make sure the gate is closed before you come out of your car. To rate Malaysia's safety from 1-10, I'd give it a 1. It's been bad a loong time ago and it's only getting worse. Every single day you'd read of people getting robbed/raped/theft. Recently, 4 people were only seeking shelter because of the rain. There were 3 guys and a girl. Two indians came, robbed them and took the girl away and raped her. Then apparently at the car park where the girl was raped, another lady who was driving witnessed the incident. The two guys robbed her off her car and left both of them behind. I heard the news from my mum and she just got really worried especially since i'm always driving around. Guess I have to start coming home earlier.

Last time, you can't go out alone when it's dark. Now, you can get robbed in bright daylight! Last time, it is okay if you're in a group of friends walking outside..but that's not the case now..BECAUSE the robbers will just rob ALL of ya and you're lucky if they don't decide to rape(especially for girls). SERIOUSLY, It is not safe to walk alone/group or whatever anywhere in Malaysia until they start improving security. Anyone who jogs outside in the morning can get raped/killed. Anyone who walks to their carpark can get robbed/raped/kidnapped/killed. When you're driving, they will puncture your tyres and wait for the opportunity to rob ya. When you're going home, they will follow you home. And now, you can't even be in a shelter while it's raining.

I am so disappointed with the security in Malaysia especially in KL. I seriously don't know what the police force is doing. Honestly, I think I only see a police patrol car patrolling like ONCE every RARE while..sometimes NEVER. The most recent time i saw MANY police cars and motorcycles around was when they were escorting a VIP to a place and this caused a huge jam when i was returning from IMU. I easily counted at least 20 policeman who were escorting the VIP and at least 5 policeman stopping the traffic to allow the VIP to travel. C'mon STEP UP YOUR WORK MAN! You were suppose to put fear into criminals but I don't think they're even afraid of ya..instead they are even more daring nowadays! clearly shows that they think the police force is a joke. I think the police force is a joke too.

For the time being while security is still in a mess, I'd wanna advise everyone to be careful and be observant. Try not to put yourself in unnecessary risks. If it can happen to someone else, it can happen to you. Take care.

Just a quick update about myself

I recently had my phone fixed because it just couldn't start suddenly..it just...DIED. Well, I lost all my imu contacts and many more because i think all the contacts were saved on my phone. Just had the phone right before my imu course started. Anyways..I'm quite sure i'll be able to get back all the numbers once again but what actually saddens me was the fact that all my msges were gone..=(

Some of the msges were very dear and important to me and they're all gone now and there is no way whatsoever i can get em back again. Well, guess there's nothing i can do about but smile! =) not like i can do anything by becoming sad over this situation though I hopelessly wished i could get back the msges..

Entering IMU for the 4th week, it's been great so far and my timetable is FULL OF ACTIVITIES easily until mid-march when i'll have to start studying really hard for my summatives as well as my EOS. I used to be stressed up back in nov/dec when i had full of activities and exams to think about but things have kinda changed back then. I kinda feel that i can manage my stress better or i simply changed my thinking..which is great =) (or maybe the exam stress haven't kicked in yet..=p) I actually feel happy doing everything i'm doing now because i just enjoy it! During a recent talk about why are we unhappy..out of a possible 7..i actually rated my happiness level at 6 when i thought about it while many were saying 4-5. There are some minor bumps here and there but i'm really satisfied and happy right now =)
Hopefully i don't come out with another post about being unhappy anytime soon! =D

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year all!

Yep, I'm only saying Happy New Year to everyone now! Though i did wish most people on my phone..=) To start this new year with a bang! I shall have a new year resolution to be a more serious person and to do more active and beneficial activities for society. It was just last week that i did my exam..though i didn't do as well as i wanted to..I am satisfied after all the stress level i had before..Much relaxed now though. I have to say that my christmas was great! Lots of gifts for me and i shall remember them by putting it all on this blog..=D. The good thing about christmas for me is not having to pay for anything or buy any gifts(only applies to family) and still get the benefits of getting gifts and having a good meal!

My new year celebration wasn't that great..Just celebrated at The Curve but then it was so crowded..i couldn't hear the music properly and i think i was still in the serious exam mood to have any fun whatsoever..sigh. The fireworks were spectacular though..the weird thing about this fireworks is it kept on making you clap your hands..SERIOUSLY. It's like the fireworks ended..then everyone clap their hands..then the fireworks came back again..then it ended..then everyone clap their hands and go YAY! then the firewroks came back again..It happened for approximately 4 times i think..It was just tooo long. and it started raining debris on me but i didn't care..It's the NEW YEAR!

Recently after a few chats and some thinking, I realised how immature I still am. Still takes time for me to grow up i guess. Thanks for knocking some sense into me again..you know who you are.. =) I finally understood everything that you meant and whatever you say is in fact true after I gave it some real thought. Sorry for my lack of maturity and understanding. Just so many things i want to say but It's best kept to myself this time around. Just hope i get the best out of this..hopefully becoming a more mature person. =)

Well, with all these said and a reminder to myself, It's time to celebrate! Come over to my house and we can have a big celebration! Anything you want here also got..i think =) except transportation. ALL THE BEST EVERYONE! HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT YEAR!

Bad Weeks..Noone to blame but myself..

It had probably been at least 2 weeks of being stressful and i think my stress has been reduced by at least 50%..other 50% is for the upcoming summatives and EAMSC. My worse day was last thursday when i crashed my car. Here's the story..
I was helping out by carrying tables and chairs for the NHSD..If you know me well.. I never seem to get enough sleep and i was extra tired because of Infinity Milers the previous day. When I finished transferring tables and chairs..I just had to drive home and get a good looong nap. The drive home is approx 40minutes and that just adds to my fatigue. So, i guess you know what happens next..I dozed off while driving and smashed my car into a lorry and a Kia Spectra. I closed my eyes for 5 sec and the next thing i knew i smashed..
The biggest mistake I did was i should've stopped the car at the side of the road and at least take a 15min nap but instead i chose to get home as quickly as possible so i could sleep for as long as i could. Well, The accident wasn't as serious as it could've been. It was raining heavily and i was on a highway. Coincidentally, all the cars were slow-moving and my car didn't skid when i braked after i knocked into the car.
The moment i got off the car..i apologised profusely to the lady. I was all soaking wet and my phone turned nuts after i took down the lady's number. She was really nice by the way. After discussing, We left and I agreed to call her. In the end, my parents had to settle the matter at the police station and it took them 4 hours! I couldn't make it because i had uni the next day..
At that time, I was already stressful thinking about whether i could catch up with my studies as I will be busy with the NHSD on Fri, Sat and Sun and I had tuition on the night of the accident which i really should relax and put my mind at ease at that time. Oh well, It's over and i'm really okay to talk about it because it could've been much worse and this had taught me a great lesson. The NHSD is finally over and i still have to catch up with my studies..=(..But I believe I can! I'm starting to become more and more optimistic =)

Lesson 1:
When you're tired, drive to the side of the road or somewhere safe and rest..Never put yourself or others at risk.

Lesson 2:
Bring an umbrella as you never know when it's going to rain.

Bad luck with movies

i just have to say a quick update about my luck with movies.. went with Xin Ying and Terri-chan to watch a movie named 'My best friend's girl'. It was supposed to be a comedy btw but it's a dumb comedy. I GUARANTEE you..every 5 minutes, you will either hear a F***, bitch, asshole, c***, p***** or censored F***, bitch, asshole, c***. Oh, do expect every 5 minutes..some parts of the scenes were cut especially the sex scenes. Seriously, one minute the girl might go ooh..the other minute is a new scene where people are talking. I suggest you do not watch the film unless you wanna waste your money. In my opinion, even if none of the scenes were cut and there were no censorship.. i will still think it's a waste of money for me. A little bit of sex is okay..but this has really gone overboard. Some of the suggestions about sex were inappropriate as well..hardly funny in my opinion. The movie is plotless as well. When we came out of the cinema, all we could utter was swt and speechless. One funny part though, Xin Ying lost RM10 in the cinema when she passed it to me..=/ It's my blurness that's at fault..i was too focused on the stupid movie that i didn't realise she passed me the money..=/ When we headed back to find the money..it was gone =(.
I wanna say i have bad luck with movies because this year ALONE, I have watched 3 movies that i can never forget for the wrong reasons..:
1. Sparrow
2. Accuracy of Death
3. My Bestfriend's Girl

My opinion:
Sparrow- Worst of the worst of the worst, enter with nothing, come out with hatred and anger.
Accuracy of Death - Ha? What the hell? the song was nice though.
My Bestfriend's girl- Swt, speechless. Too Sexual and Rude.

I would rather jump of a builiding if i were to ever pay to watch these movies again.

Jing Dear's Birthday

I can write over a thousand words about the wonderful date and farewell but i shall keep it as short as possible but of course must be longer than Pearly's farewell..>.< September 19 was Jing's birthday and since she has to celebrate her birthday with her family..i decided that September 20 would be the day that i'll celebrate her birthday. Believe it or not..I started planning for this birthday right after my birthday which is way back in JUNE 16.(I put it in capital letters simply to instill in every reader's mind the importance of this date..=D..September 19 is only important to me..=p). Took me some hard time thinking about how to make her happy all the time and ESPECIALLY on her birthday =). I know it's not hard to satisfy you dear but I always want to make you as happy as possible..=) Just the smile on your face can bring the smile on my face..Jing's Law =p. Okay..back to the date.

See how much i observed you dear..just by mentioning once that you enjoy the jungle-trekking more than the beach back in Redang, i had remembered it up until now =/. So i decided to take Jing to FRIM for jungle trekking. I wasn't late for the date..hehe..so praises for me >.<. UNFORTUNATELY, She was sick..okay okay..it was my fault for accidentally sharing a drink with her while I was sick..so sorry dear =(. At least i tried to make it up to her by making some great tea and msges filled with love =p.

So when we reached FRIM and parked, we just walked umm..100m deeper into the forest then we turned back. Hmm..didn't manage to see any animals inside though except for some fishes, birds, butterflies, and squirrels. It was an enjoyable walk for me though although a short one. After that..i cooked some mee and egg for breakfast for the both of us. This was the first time i ever cooked for someone and only under special requests =p. After eating and a bit more walk..we decided to drive one huge circle around FRIM. Umm..I would say there's nothing much if you drive around FRIM, guess you have to walk deeper into the forest to see more. I had my fun when i was the first passenger with Jing in the driver's seat..=D. It was an interesting ride..I was worried at times..(not that i don't trust you dear)..but nevertheless a fun ride..seriously =).

Soon after that, We drove to Sunway Pyramid just to get tix for a supposedly romantic movie. After getting the tix we decided to go to Qian's house since she was having tea. We could only stay there for an hour+ since we had to catch the movie. Well, at least we came..and considering how troublesome it was to drive to sunway pyramid, get the tix then go qian's house, THEN back to sunway pyramid to catch the movie on a SATURDAY where we could hardly find any parking..see what nice friends me and Jing are to you..Qian..=)

After heading back, we watched the movie 'Accuracy of Death'. Another plotless movie but still..because of the last 10 minutes and nice song..It has surpassed 'Sparrow'. Since it was Jing Dear's pick, I shall say the movie was okay =p. IF it's not her pick..i'll be scolding the person who picked this movie >.<. Anyways, it's not about what the movie is about..it's about the person you want to watch the movie with..and that's you dear =)

After that, we went to the curve for dinner. It was hard choosing a place to eat as there were so many choices and most of them were filled with people. In the end, we chose a cafe that i really cant remember the name..X_X. After eating, I had to find a way to get to the car by myself to surprise her with the birthday gift. Thanks to a dumb machine that only accepts coins for the parking ticket. I got to my car and transferred the gifts to the front of the car in an attempt to surprise her. =) It was a card,a dog,a flower and a bracelet. Ever since then..she's been hugging the dog and giving the dog more attention...grr..=.=.

I was planning to go around the city but in the end we went to Bangsar which was nearer to Hartamas. Bangsar's a nice place to walk around though..and we were lucky to find a parking right beside Bangsar Village. After walking around and talking for hours..it was almost 10.30 and Jing has to get back by 11. In the end, I took her out from 10 in the morning till 11 at night..=p that's 13 hours! and i enjoyed EVERY MINUTE OF IT! =) Wished that moment lasted longer..=( Not forgetting i got full marks from her for that date =p..Thanks so much dear..love you =).

Pearly's Farewell..!

Lucky Pearly..she picked a Friday..and a NIGHT..how can Fong, Bin, Bert and Me not send her off at KLIA airport?..and so we did..=)..oh wait a minute..Bert wasn't in the list until constant persuasion and effort done by some kepo guy..=/ Well..He did make the necessary sacrifice as well to skip a family dinner and risk being scolded by his dad..but trust me dude..you made the right choice..=). Here's a nice quote that i found myself after countless hours searching from the net..=p The quote goes~It takes a minute to find a special person,an hour to appreciate them,a day to love them,but then an entire life to forget them~..to some it might sound like a really familiar quotation =p.

Btw..We went to Pearly's house in the afternoon after a tiring day in IMU..(you better appreciate us more now..=/). Went we went to her house..we called several times for Pearly but nobody responded. Suddenly, a young voice came out of the house..i thought it was Pearly but it was actually Pearly's mum = Mrs. Neo..Wah..i just realised how cool that name sounds..Mrs.Neo..>.<

Pearly didn't want to come down because she was too shy so she went to shower. Little did she know that Bert was waiting in the car for her.Bert wasn't suppose to go so it was like a surprise for her. I don't know why..but for a few times when i looked outside the gate..I saw Bert sneaking out of the car..i think he can't wait to meet Pearly that's why he has to keep on sneaking out and enter the house..ha ha ha...Patience is a virtue my friend =).

I forced Bert to stay in the car till Pearly came down..I told her i was gonna give her a gift from the car..well..the gift was Bert of course..>.<. Aiyo..once i took her to the car...and she saw Bert..I thought she was gonna hug Bert and cry..then Baru SYOK for me to see lar...BUT THEN..the first thing she did was hit Bert..guess that's her sign of affections that he came..=p
Soon after we had to go out and eat, Pearly promised me abalone and shark's fin soup..but it's okay..i enjoyed the dinner..=) Thanks to Mr and Mrs. Neo and Miss Tham(Pearly) for the dinner.

Then we drove all the way to KLIA to send our dear Pearly off. It was tiring but fun.. Fong mentioned that Pearly's dad goes at 60km/h and never beyond that. They were going past 100km/h man! =/. After we reached and transferred the stuffs, Bert and Pearly lined up for the tix while i just bum around with others..you'll see what i mean once you see the pics..what me Fong and Bin did when we were free and had absolutely nothing to do.

After that, we said our goodbyes and hugs to Pearly..Bert got the final hug and not me..like WHY HIM AND NOT ME?!?! =(..am i not special enough for you? =/...oh well..after the goodbyes..fong with his too free nothing to do decided that we sang a bit of belaian jiwa to her..while she was going down the escalator..which was quite touching i guess. Though, deep inside..i wished they would sing to me...i want to know betapamu sayang kepadaku..

We missed by 10 minutes and had to pay extra RM4! so it was like 7 bucks for the parking ticket. But it was worth it. After driving back, we sang songs along the way to subang..! while bert silently talked to pearly across the phone. We had time for some drinks when we reached subang and we chose NON-OTHER than ASIA CAFE!

Fireworks at Putrajaya!

It was raining in the afternoon..I couldn't bear the thought that i might not be able to go to the fireworks after all. Sometimes things do not go according to plan..that's life. If only we were able to predict the future and change the past..then maybe things wouldn't be as hard. Then i would've selected another beautiful day to witness the fireworks- This is what i would've said if i had missed the fireworks..which i did not! =p

Things started really great actually.I reached KL sentral at 6.00pm about 30 minutes ahead of the time i was suppose to meet up with fong and bin..Fong and Bin reached at 6.50 in the end..=.=..but then we were early so it was okay and we managed to catch the KLIA transit at 7. The KLIA transit travels from KL sentral to KLIA and there was a stop at Putrajaya. The funny thing is when we were travelling from KL sentral to KLIA. The train actually has a stop at Bandar Tasik Selatan..which was where Bin parked his car and took the KTM at Bandar Tasik Selatan to move to KL sentral..HA HA..>.<

Then things started getting worse. The shuttle bus stopped in the middle of nowhere and we have to walk like 1km or more to reach the PICC. Apparently, that area was a no entry for buses. Okay, good reason..so i guess we could walk so we happily skipped/hopped/laughed our way to the PICC. About a quarter way through, 2 policemen stopped us from going further cuz they said it was too dangerous as we have to go through the danger area(where the fireworks were released) and that we can only go through if there's a car. That's when I became irritated and pissed off. They suggested that we take a taxi to go inside. Obviously, i refused.

Then i just had to say it..'The government told us to take the public transport to avoid jam while coming to putrajaya, now we take the public transport you don't let us in..what the hell?' The policemen just looked and said 'i don't know'. I swear i wouldn't take a taxi and i want them to fetch us in with their patrol car man. They even suggested that we watch the fireworks from outside..which i just have to say..'if we want to watch the fireworks, we can watch it from there..there..there..pointing at several parts of putrajaya..i don't need to walk so freaking long'. and i just had to say that we don't come as far as sungai buloh just to watch fireworks without music. After thinking for sometime, we complained to another police officer and said the same thing. She said we could enter but the other said cannot.. so they had to call their pegawai. I gotta tell you that in a period of 15 minutes, 3 policeman on 3 different cool designs of police motorcycles came and discussed. After sometime i was already impatient and kept on asking 'macam mana' and she told me to be patient and be a Malaysian.>.<. She's lucky I was a Malaysian and not a tourist..what a bad image it may bring to Malaysia on top of all the bad images it already had. After 20 minutes..finally the pegawai ordered the police to allow us to go in.

It was a freaking far distance still..but at least we can walk in. We finally reached PICC around 8.30 i think..Then we ate chicken rice! (thanks to fong for buying for us) inside PICC. we bumped around until 9.30 then we went to a small hill to watch the fireworks.

The fireworks started at 10 btw..but time passed really fast when the fireworks started.
BOOM! It was SPECTACULAR! I was WOWing and AHHing and WOOing and WAHing for the entire 20 minutes of the time. It was by team Canada this time around and i think they did a splendid job. I believed it was worth the wait..c'mon man..million dollars worth of fireworks for free? Of course it's worth the wait and trouble...=D

After that..we had to wait for about 30 minutes so that the crew can clean up the road before we had to walk ALL THE WAY back to the bus stop..(where we were dropped). I had blisters on both my feet after walking for sooo freaking long =( It's my fault for wearing slippers anyways..i didn't know i was gonna walk such a long distance..=.= After we entered the bus..we got on the KLIA transit to go back to KL sentral. The End. It was a fun and memorable trip. and i think i'll definitely be going there again next year if i have the time..=) We managed to fit in some pics on the way back to the bus.

Visit to Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation

On the 4th of August, Fong, Pearly, Jing and me visited the Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation. There are no pictures! but i'll definitely go back there again next time. Lemme tell you my experience. I went there through contacting a person named Shima. The administration staffs are really friendly people! You'll know what I mean if you talked to Shima. We reached right on time thanks to CHING'S PUNCTUALITY =p Okaylar..credit to Fong and Pearly to come for this event and arranging transport to jing's house. I know it's tough arranging transport but i hope you had a hell of an experience there. Jing gets credit for entertaining me and for making an effort to come.>.<

Shima was nice enough to take us around the entire centre while explaining how each station works in the centre. I can't talk about the toddler's section coz i went with Fong to the station that teaches motor and drawing skills if i'm not mistaken. When i went there..i realised how shallow my knowledge of down syndrome children are. Blame the bio book for not saying enough and blame me for not knowing the children better myself. I'm determined to understand the children better as i wanna be a volunteer and learn special skills during my holidays (i hope)!

These children have to go through 4 different stations every 30 minutes. Each station teaches different skills needed to make the children lead to a close to normal life. This shows each and everyone of us how lucky we really are. I was volunteering there but then i dun think i did much knowing i was new and i have no special skills whatsoever..so i just followed what the teachers were doing. After the stations were done..we had to take the children to the lunch station where we have to accompany them for lunch. I have to tell you that all the children were so adorable..Yes Guys..They're cuter than me and you know i will rarely admit that but these children are just perfect angels.

During the visit..i had 2 children sticking to me quite a bit which gave me a good satisfaction that someone actually wants me. =) My friends ar..will dump me for money wan..=p now i've found friends who actually gives me love! Okay..seriously..it's just fun knowing the fact that the children felt close to you. =) ( please don't za me saying that the children have nobody's hands to hold that's why forced to hold my hands ar..or i'll kick your ass..=p) The children came over and held my hands wan ar..not i perasan >.<>

There was one really fun event that i felt interation with the children which is 'The Dance!'. The teacher played a music that they were familiar with and we all danced with the music while doing silly actions that entertains anyone! After a few songs then it was over..We were there for 2 hours and it felt like 30 minutes..(unlike Sparrow..1hour 30 minutes felt like 4 hours). All the children took their attendance by recognising their faces on the card and they all lined up to get back to their family happily waiting outside the room.

During the event, I was just glad to spend time with the children and talked to the teachers and got to know the place. At the end of the day however, I started thinking about the sacrifices the family had to make for the sake of their children. The sacrifices that they made is priceless. I don't even think they take it as a sacrifice. Love and nurturing is hard even for a child like us so do treasure our family well =).

Volunteering here was an experience worth going for. The place can't cater for many volunteers so 4 should be the max no. of friends that you should TRY to bring. You go in with nothing and come out with self-satisfaction, happiness, tiredness, feeling of understanding and all the positive signs of volunteering..(unlike Sparrow..read my post). It's also a good way to spend time with your friends as well instead of the regular 'let's go watch movie and have lunch!'.

Sparrow Movie Review By Ching

I just realised i haven't posted for well over a month..really sorry..must be too busy huh..i'm not sure if it's too late..but i wanna tell everyone please try to avoid watching SPARROW- This Honky Film that features nothing in my opinion. Umm..watch it if you're some kind of artistic fella who enjoys watching animated sparrows(which looks REALLY fake) flying around aimlessly. Oh..and another thing so-called artistic by Jing is the umbrella scene..which looks TOTALLY unnecessary to me. So watch it if you enjoy watching people turn their umbrellas around while pickpocketing..which is..well..lame and barely entertaining. I don't know whether there's like a metaphor to this film..IF there is..then sorry..i dun like to like 'think' when i'm watching a movie you see..i just wanna WATCH a movie..not WATCH and THINK..>.<

According to The Star review..the movie tells about the story of a girl always on a run and 4 men fascinated by her. Lemme tell you this..I've watched the movie..and if you dun want me to spoil it for you then dun read it..The girl ran away at fast-paced...for NO REASON AT ALL! ha ha ha..we got fooled alright..She knows she can't run away from the old man yet she DID..if THAT'S the reason..then she's pretty optimistic she can get away from a bunch of HUGE guys following her around..which makes her quite stupid. The ONLY good thing about this movie is it is quite short..about 1 hour 30 minutes long. Trust me..that 1 hour 30 minutes feels like a 3 hours or more..I was waiting ANXIOUSLY for the show to end..(unlike Batman that i waited anxiously for what is about to happen next). Though i did get one positive side outta it..I got a good laugh in the cinema while watching the movie..as it is SO ridiculous. Now comes the bad thingS..i have to emphasise that there are MANY BAD THINGS but only one good thing. This movie was so-called the MOVIE to watch after Batman..all i can say is just we've been FOOLED!..ha ha ha..it's definitely an april fools joke or something.

1. Waste of money. This movie is by far the worst movie i ever spent my money on and watched it in the cinema.I seriously thought nothing can top Drillbit Taylor as the worst movie this year..but this movie certainly topped it.
2.Waste of time. You go in with NOTHING..you come out feeling Frustrated, Angry, HA?, Wha?, What the hell?, Bloody shit i wasted my money on this?, STUNNED for a minute, looking at the person next to you and laugh at the movie ETC.(definitely more of them considering i can give more than 2 hours of talk about this movie alone). Even Sex and the City is better than this movie..and it's coming from a guy..=/
3.Waste of publication/promotion/film/movie producers/sponsorship. Seriously, I have no idea how they got sponsored for the movie and it was directed by a famous director and a bunch of famous actors.
4. Waste of energy. The Conservation of Energy clearly states that the total amount of energy in any isolated system remains constant but cannot be recreated, although it may change forms. Yep guys..i wasted lotsa chemical energy that i ate from food only to be wasted on the energy i used to drive to the cinema, bought the tix, entered the cinema, and STARED at the screen for 1 hour 30 minutes with my EYES. I could've used my chemical energy on something else better such as doing community service helping poor little Fong clean his house. If you know me well, helping Fong clean his house is like in my No-No list but i very much would prefer to waste my kinetic energy on Fong than on the movie.

Okay, you'll need to call me before i can say more. I think i talked enough about the movie. OH WAIT! i forgot. There's one more positive side to it.. Anyone and i mean ANYONE with insomnia can find the ultimate cure with this movie! if you don't feel sleepy after 1 hour watching this movie probably means you have seen some methaphoric meaning in this movie.
Okay to end it i shall say my famous phrase about this movie.' This movie is the worst and if there's a word that's worse than worst then it's THAT WORD and if there's a word that's worse than THAT WORD then use THAT 'WORD'.

I shall say however that this is only my opinion about this movie. This does not represent everyone's view and maybe might have exaggerated about the movie a bit although i seriously think watching some Tamil or Malaysian film would be worth watching more. You can still catch it though..but i would recommend buying a cheaper version if you know what i mean. I didn't say PIRACY okay..I support ORIGINAL!!

Okay.That's all i can say about this movie..unless you call my HOTLINE. I'll definitely be ACTIVE AGAIN NOW! so many things to talk about! hehe Ciao dudes =)

My Prom Night

First of all, I shall say..try paying 130 bucks..just to dress up nice in Renaissance Hotel to take pics with your classmates..doesn't seem like it's worth it huh...but it was for me =). not simply because I get to spend time with my classmates and see them dress up like OMG!..(Xiah baby in a beautiful dress for example..haha)..most importantly was what a great time that i actually had with my prom date..Hwai Jing. =)

First and foremost, I really wanna apologise for the rude words that i said in the car while driving..thinking about it, i could've just shut up instead of saying unnessary stuffs..It's just for one night and i couldn't even do it..not like it matters now..but it was regretful so i'm sorry =(

Okay..time for the more interesting part, Jing actually took me the right road to Renaissance Hotel!..applause please! considering she took me the wrong road a number of times..=p and this time..I was talking so much i missed the entry to Renaissance Hotel..causing me to do a LEGAL U-turn at one end...and another ILLEGAL U-turn at the other end..just to get back to the hotel 15 minutes later when we reached there at EXACTLY 7. We had to wait there for an hour nevertheless before the ballroom door was opened to us..X_X

Hmm..regarding the performances..I would say..it was okay..a bit too loud and i just wasn't in the mood for LOUD rock music in a prom. The food...sorry to say..far from yummy..way below my expectation because i was really hungry that night..the lecturers' performance was cool though. Other than that..i think we were busy taking pics ignoring what was happening on stage.

While driving back..the funniest thing happened..apparently Bin was following us back and Jing was suppose to lead the way for Bin to go back..but then she accidentally gave the wrong direction(but then actually the wrong direction was faster) and she didn't realise beforehand. Then I was slowing my car down and both Bin and Shan was so happily waving their hands saying bye while heading the 'wrong' direction..the situation was hilarious. Instead of comforting her..sorry to say..I was really mean to bully her by saying 'it's okay' in an evil way..>.<

I must say that the night ended quite quickly..and Jing accompanied me the whole night..so Thanks =). Overall..I think i did just okay as a prom date..probably a cool 5/10(trying to improve)..but jing was probably a 9-10/10. This is really what i feel..don't think i fully treated you like a princess although i promised to..sorry =(.. Trust me..your birthday will be much better =). PICS TIME! All my pics are in facebook btw. I wish i can put them all but i really can't..It'll take up alot of space..>.<.. (extra thanks to all the girls who made me look taller..i think practically the whole class except Pearly) ha..ha..ha =p

Good news Bad News

Just last wednesday was the day i'm not a college A-level student anymore! Time seems to drift away so BLOODY HELL fast..i'll talk about my experience next time..with good news comes bad news..i got a call from hitz.fm soon after exams stating that i won tix to watch the premiere of the hulk but unfortunately i had to teach tuition so i gave the tix to my parents to watch. And they said it was nice..imagine man..your parents watched 'the hulk' before you..quite embarassing isn't it..anyways..apparently before the screening..my name was announced first place =p so i won these huge 'the hulk' smashing hands..and it makes sounds so I LOVE IT! so i took some pics to share..btw..the bad news is not really watching the movie..but on the same day..when i came back from college...i pok kai and injured my bloody foot..=( gonna have some pain when i'm wearing shoes for prom >.<..
